THE MARCH - CHRONOPHOTOGRAPHY

I studied the prefecture of Creteil last summer. What stroke me the most was the contrast between the oppressive landscape made of concrete, and the pedestrian paths, winding through it. The city allows no car or bus therefore the inhabitants have to walk to get home. The citizen's bodies are forced to walk. There is no other way. Everything is static and heavy around the walkers. Using the paths it allows, the landscape subjugate and control its inhabitants.
